Yomiuri Land, an amusement park in Tokyo, will host “Ura Menu Fes”, a food festival featuring ura-menu (off-menu) items that are known only for regular customers or restaurant’s staff and are not listed on the menu, for the first time.

This festival will last for seven days, from 28th to 30th April and from 3rd to 6th May, 2018.

■Excellent off-menu items at famous restaurants that you cannot usually have

Tori-ryori Tamahide(鳥料理 玉ひで), a long-established restaurant with a history of 258 years in Nihonbashi and served dishes made with aged chicken.

Café Haiti Nakano(カフェハイチ 中野), a legendary restaurant whose dry curry has been a great influence on many other restaurants.





SHAMAIM, a long-established, authentic, Israeli cuisine restaurant that is rare in Japan.

Popular, long-established, and high-performance restaurants will open their booths at the event.

Menya Sakurai(麺屋 さくら井), a ramen shop whose owner is a ramen geek and eat up 500 ramen every year.

Sugoi Niboshi Ramen Nagi(すごい煮干ラーメン 凪), a ramen shop in Golden Gai, Shinjyuku that is famous for excellent niboshi (small dried sardine) broth.





Almas of India(アロマズ オブ インディア), a restaurant whose chef used to work at a five-star hotel in Delhi, India.

Wee Nam Kee Japan Main Restaurant(威南記 海南鶏飯 日本本店), a Chinese restaurant started in Singapore.

You can savor ethnic dishes here as well.

These popular, long-established or up-coming restaurants were selected among as many as 50,000 candidates.
